A Sustainable Ecology-

Coppiced woodland has the great virtue of being able to combine the potential of production with environmental benefits. Willow coppice provides an attractive habitat  for a variety of migratory songbirds such as warblers, tits and  blackbirds.  It acts as a “carbon sink” consuming carbon dioxide during the growing process, and as carbon dioxide is known to be a contributing factor to global warming as a greenhouse gas coppice timber is helping to counteract human activities by removing the Carbon Dioxide.
